J.R. Paredes is a music producer, film post-production audio mixer and editor, audio engineer, and composer based in Orlando, Florida. Originally from Houston, TX, J.R. owned and operated Satellite Music Group, a commercial recording studio and production company, for 15 years. Today he continues to work in both the film and music industries with clients from all over the world, and he remains an active member of the Recording Academy and a voter for the GRAMMY Awards. J.R is currently a professor at Full Sail University where he serves as Course Director in Audio Post-Production in the Film Production Master of Fine Arts program.
